STC Pedestrian Mews

This project was developed as a public art proposal for a new pedestrian mews within a Scarborough development. The work considers how sculpture can anchor a space, creating moments of pause within the flow of everyday movement.

Drawing from the Scarborough crest and the region’s floral emblem, these civic references are translated into a contemporary sculptural form. The project explores how local symbols can be reinterpreted through public art to shape identity and contribute to a shared sense of place within emerging urban environments.
